Last weekend we had the privilege of being sponsors of the First Luxury engine world Hall, High Motors.

The wonderful place of Torre Loizaga Museum, once fortress of the Loizaga Garcia Ochoa lineage, has been the meeting point of prestigious automotive brands. In addition to the museum permanent 45 Rolls-Royce exhibition!

Segway Trip y High Motors

This museum in Concejuelo de Galdames, at 30 kilometers from Bilbao, recovered thanks to the efforts of the entrepreneur Miguel de la Vía, it has become one of the most important private collections of vintage and classic cars in the world. Visited by motor enthusiasts and general public, is an icon in the world of luxury vehicles.

In this context the High Motors Hall was developed by combining the engine with other luxury brands. Major brands such as Lexus, Porshe, Inifiniti, Audi, Maserati, Ford, Mustang, Ducati, Triumph, Bentley … were present, besides the Euskadi Classic Car, which offered a sample of 12 cars from private collections.

And Segway Trip segways were the official means of transport inside the Hall. Many people could try them, enjoy segway rides and know the benefits of driving a segway.

Other firms related to luxury present were the Art Wanson Gallery, Engel & Völkers real estate, Perodri jewelry, Javier Barroeta couture and JM Juan Manuel, Geographic XXI travel agency, Perrier Jouêt… La Cococha de Rocío Gandarias was in charge of restoration, and we could taste Galician seafood andCarballiño octopus.

We enjoyed pairings, exhibitions, fashion, tastings… Surrounded by a unique nature environment worth visiting. Not only for the museum, but because the Galdames council  has an astonishing cultural, architectural, archaeological and natural heritage. Among its many attractions are caves with rock art, stalactites, natural parks, beaches, adventure park, museums … Besides the many culinary and craft resources with the “made in Enkarterri” brand.

And of course you have to spend time to know the proper Torre Loizaga Museum where you can admire all the Rolls-Royce models manufactured by the British firm, from its beginnings until its sale to a German automotive group in the nineties.

The museum’s collection began with cars owned by Miguel de la Vía, who then incorporated other Rolls-Royce models and other brands. The result is a set of seventy-five cars made up of classic, sports, stylish… and even an english fire truck model! All of them in perfect condition and ready to be driven. Thanks to the efforts of the museum founder and the mechanics of the zone.
